Microwave at 850w
Pierce the skin of the swede all over with a fork.
Place the swede on a microwavable plate and cook for 2 minutes per 100 grams. Example 600g = 12 minutes. 700g = 14 minutes. Half way through cooking time turn the swede upside down using oven gloves and continue to cook.
Remove from the microwave with oven gloves when time is up and let stand for 5 minutes.
Cut in half
Using a spoon, scoop out the centre leaving only the skin
Once in a bowl, season and add some butter for extra flavour.
