All of our produce is stored and packed at our Tofthill site. We have a number of dedicated cold stores with 15,000 tonnes of capacity that are specialised to play a crucial role in preserving the quality, freshness and ultimately shelf life of our produce. These functional and efficient stores are designed specifically to maintain precise temperature control across our range of produce with interior organisation aimed at maximising the efficiency of the space and to ensure the correct airflow circulates around the stored produce.
We have sophisticated monitoring and control systems to ensure prompt action is always taken to maintain product quality.
Quality Control...
Once the produce is ready to be packed, it is transferred from its intake store and is carefully cleaned, sorted, packed and prepared for distribution. Our facilities are all purpose built with the necessary tools and equipment to ensure that the packing process is efficient and crucially that the quality of the produce is maintained throughout. Under the watchful eye of our quality control team, our highly trained personnel remove all damaged or substandard items at their dedicated and ergonomically designed packing stations to ensure that only the highest quality produce is packed for distribution.
